Abstract

Cancer is a general term used to describe many different types of malignant tumors. Cancers have the capacity for uncontrolled growth and can spread to different parts of the body. In Sweden, over 40,000 individuals per year (approximately as many men as women) are diagnosed with some form of cancer.
