Alon Liel, Israel's former representative in Ankara and a former director-general of Israel's Foreign Ministry, provides an evaluation of Turkey's relations with the Arab world, Iran, and Israel from an Israeli perspective. Thus, the book is primarily intended for an Israeli audience. The book is divided into three sections, which are further subdivided into ten chapters. There is also an introductory chapter, but there is no concluding chapter.
