The Italian Parliament and Legislative Publications: A Concise Survey

Extract
This year the Italian Parliament celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of its formation under the Republican Constitution of 1947, which went into effect on January 1st of the following year. Because of the parliamentary system established by the Constitution, the role of the Italian Parliament extends far beyond the law-making function.
