Radio diagnostics for outflows from hot stars are reviewed and three well–studied examples (WR 140, η Car and MWC 349) are discussed in some detail. The three systems are very different and their radio properties are diverse, but in each case, the radio data provide strong evidence for the presence of equatorially–enhanced outflows.
