The present status and the upgrading projects for the Nobeyama Millimeter Array are described. The array is currently being upgraded to produce higher sensitivity and new spectral windows. The major items have been a new 10-m antenna, new receivers, and a new correlator. There follows a brief summary of the astronomical research is presented.
