New Ovro Results Show Disks are Not Necessary for Focussing Bipolar Outflows

In order to better understand the outflow phenomenon in young, high mass stars, the three sources S87, LkHα101, and S106 were chosen for closer study. High spatial resolution (5” millimeter line 13CO (J=1→0) and CS (J=2→1) maps of these sources were obtained with the Owens Valley Radio Observatory’s (OVRO) millimeter array at 0.15 and 3.0 km s-1 resolutions, respectively.
