The Early Issues of the First Newspaper in Hausa Gaskiya ta fi Kwabo, 1939–1945

Abstract

The first years of Gaskiya ta fi Kwabo, the oldest Hausa newspaper, have recently been made available online for research. They provide a sometimes idiosyncratic perspective on the Second World War.
