Submission deadline: July 31, 2023
Since its launch in 2013, High Power Laser Science and Engineering (HPLSE) has now been published for 10 years. Supported by the founding Co-Editors-in-Chief Zunqi Lin and Colin Danson, the subsequent Co-Editor-in-Chief Jianqiang Zhu and other extraordinary Editorial Board members, HPLSE rapidly obtained its reputation in the high power laser community. So far, more than 450 papers from 430 institutions in 32 countries have been published in HPLSE. We appreciate the contributions made by authors and reviewers, which have led to the continued success of our journal. HPLSE is now one of the most important journals in the field of high power lasers.
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of HPLSE. To celebrate this fantastic landmark, we are going to organize a special issue of the journal that will span the latest research, reviews or perspectives in the fields of high power lasers, advanced laser technology, applications and laser components, and high energy density physics.
Papers submitted to this special issue could be Research articles, Reviews, Letters or Perspectives.
Guest Editors:
Colin Danson, AWE and Centre for Inertial Fusion Sciences, Physics Department, Imperial College London, UK
Jianqiang Zhu, Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China
Michael Campbell, University of Rochester, USA
Submission deadline: July 31, 2023. Manuscripts should be submitted via the online submission system at: http://mc03.manuscriptcentral.com/clp-hpl. Please select “10th anniversary of HPLSE” from the drop-down menu under “Special Issue” in Step 1: Type, Title, & Abstract when submitting manuscript.
High Power Laser Science and Engineering is a Gold Open Access peer reviewed journal that seeks to uncover the underlying science and engineering in the fields of: high energy density physics, high power lasers, advanced laser technology and applications and laser components. The journal was formed in 2013 as a joint venture between Cambridge University Press (CUP), Cambridge, UK and Chinese Laser Press (CLP), Shanghai, China. The journal is published on-line with one volume per year. Under the stewardship of Editors-in-Chief from both China and the UK the journal has established itself as an internationally recognized publication.
