In addition to the features noted by Sreznevskij as indicating the great age of the translations in the MS, we would call attention to the presence in the Martyrdom of a corrupt example of the extremely rare first person singular imperative form: prijati budemŭ, recte prijatŭ buděmĭ, translating Greek πρoσδεΞθην (14.2). The fifteenth-century copyist took the singular buděmĭ for the indicative plural budemŭ and altered the participle prijatŭ to agree with it in the plural.
