The Classical Association warmly welcomes proposals for new volumes in the Greece & Rome New Surveys in the Classics series.
The series was founded in 1967 and forty-seven volumes have been published so far. They typically focus either on an individual ancient author or on a broader topic: recent examples are Plutarch (Geert Roskam) and The Sophists (Mauro Bonazzi).
The aim is to provide an accessible overview of current thinking for students, teachers, and scholars in other areas, whilst also giving contributors the opportunity to present their own perspective. Proposals are invited both on authors and topics not previously covered and as replacements for older volumes in the series.
The maximum preferred length for volumes is 50,000 words.
