The Age of Some Carbonatite Igneous Activity in South-West Tanganyika

Abstract

Absolute age determinations by the potassium-argon method on biotite from the Musensi Hill intrusion and feldspar from a feldspathic breccia on the Mbeya Mountain Range indicate a Cretaceous age.
