On the Significance of Metamorphosed Calcareous Concretions in Lower Birrimian Schists of the Gold Goast
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 01 May 2009
Abstract
Nodules of “pseudodiorite”, i.e. metamorphosed calcareous concretions, occur in the Lower Birrimian (Pre-Cambrian) quartz-biotite schists which are interpreted as having been calcareous muds and silts. The probable metamorphic history of these nodules is traced.
