The Sulphur Content of Nigerian Manures

Summary

Faeces of different birds and animals were analysed for sulphur and nitrogen. Chick faeces contained the highest amount of sulphur while farmyard manure gave the highest value for mineralized S after incubation. There was a high degree of correlation between the total S and total N.
