Introduction

ECT is a save and one of the most effective treatments of depression and other severe mental diseases.

Despite these facts rates of ECT use are highly variable in different regions. In Villach there has been a continous use of ECT for many years.

Objectives

We investigate the agreement of the rate of ECT between our clinical practice and and international recommendations.

Additionally we want to show our data about indications, frequency and outcome in the use of ECT.

Results

Data will be reported and discussed.
