Resumen

El síndrome del conejo se caracteriza por movimientos rápidos, finos y rítmicos de los músculos periorales a lo largo de un eje vertical, remedando las acciones de masticar de un conejo. El presente caso demuestra la posible utilidad de la quetiapina como estrategia de tratamiento monofarmacológica para hacer frente al síndrome del conejo y tratar simultáneamente los síntomas psicóticos.
