Desmielinización del SNC en gammapatía monoclonal de significado desconocido (MGUS): posible causa de un síndrome de demencia

Resumen
Sólo algunas publicaciones señalan la posibilidad de participación simultánea del SNC en la enfermedad desmielinizante periférica adquirida. Describimos a dos pacientes con polineuropatía crónica y gammapatía monoclonal de significado desconocido (MGUS) que desarrollaron un síndrome de demencia progresiva con alteraciones extensas de la sustancia blanca cerebral.
