Abstract

In this contribution we summarize some of our recent results aboutthe matching of collapsing inhomogeneous dust-filled spacetimes tovacuum static exteriors with a negative cosmological constant inplanar or hyperbolic symmetry. This models gravitational collapse totoroidal or higher genus asymptotically AdS black holes.
