* To our query concerning ministerial nomenclature Dr Biswas replied (in litt., 18 January 1982); ‘… thename[s] of the Ministries as given are correct. After President Sattar was elected late last year, he reorganized the different ministries. This accounts for the two different names. For example, the new President created a new Mnistry of Energy, and the “Power” section of the earlier Ministry, headed by Mr Abbas, is now a part of this [new] Ministry’.—Ed.
