2 Prellwitz says ⋯πο⋯ρας is for * ⋯πο-Ϝρας, but this would give ⋯π-ε-Ϝρα > ⋯π-ε⋯ρα, which Sittl accordingly writes for ⋯πη⋯ρα. See that editor's note on Theogony 423. It may be added that a future ⋯;πουρ⋯σουσιν is read in Horn. Il. XXII. 489 by Schol. Ven. B. and explained by him: ⋯φαιρ⋯σονται.
