page 19 note 1 The reviewer is not responsible for the delay in noticing this book.—Edd.

page 19 note 2 The statement in Tom. I (21905) ‘Codicis W lectiones cum T consentientes commemoravi, lectiones cum B consentientes silentio fere praeterii’ is inapplicable to Cra. Plt. (In 1920 Burnet got a rotograph of W in Cra., which Mrs. Burnet has kindly lent me.)

page 19 note 3 But his photograph of W seemingly lacked Cra. 414d ἔσται–415d εἴληφεν and 418e γωγν–419d τερπνο, omissions wrongly ascribed by M. to the MS. Certain dislocations of text of which he speaks seem to be also imaginary.

page 20 note 1 We have now the authority of W for such readings as υἱν εἶναι Cra. 396a, ἢ δλον 397d, πιχθνιοι 398a, ἥν τινα ποτε 401a, ντως 413e, κακας 415c. (In 419a W has διακοσμον κα δἰῑν.)
