1 It would not be without interest to consider the reverse direction of influence, namely of Cicero's youthful Aratea upon DRN, which could not have escaped the notice of Lucretius.
2 Pliny the Elder is not treated. It would have been interesting to see a detailed account of where Lucretius' work was used in the Historia Naturalis: certainly his appearance among the sources of Book 10 only tells part of the story.
