1 It is less pedantic to complain that there are too many misprints and minor errors, particularly in the guide to further reading. Other slips include the mis-spelling of Aegyptiaca and Babyloniaca, and of Persaeus of Citium, to whom is also attributed the saying that kingship is noble servitude: that of course belongs to his protector Antigonus Gonatas (p. 91).
