1 Jacoby, (Apollodors Chronik, 358)Google Scholar added further confusion by asserting that, when Antilochus ap. Clem. Al. Strom. i. 80. 2 says that Epicurus died Гαμηλι⋯νος δεκ⋯τῃ⋯σταμ⋯νον, he reflects a tradition that Epicurus, like Plato, died on his birthday. The only evidence for this disappears when τῇπροτ⋯ρᾳ δεκ⋯τῃ is properly translated.
