1 Although in this chapter N.-O. justifies most of his translation choices, the complete lack of justification of his translation of ῥῆμα with ‘verb’ is somewhat perplexing. I found it very misleading, and some explanation would have been helpful.

2 It is noteworthy that this account of communication is not presented here for its own sake, but because it contains elements that are necessary for the introduction of the notion of contradiction in Int. 6.
