1 Incidentally Athen. 453e—on the fifth-century ‘Alphabet Tragedy’ of Callias—τ⋯ τε μ⋯τρον κα⋯ τ⋯ μ⋯λος ⋯ν ⋯ντιστρ⋯φοις ἔχουσι π⋯σαι ταὐτ⋯ν—might be taken into account apropos of melodic repetition in strophic lyric, in addition to the much-quoted staterement of Dionysius, Comp. Verb. 19.
