A note was inadvertently omitted from the September 1969 issue indicating that “The Defeat of Austria-Hungary in 1918 and the European Balance of Power,” by Robert A. Kann, and “The Defeat of Germany in 1918 and the European Balance of Power,” by Gerhard L. Weinberg, were first read as papers at the December 1968 meeting of the American Historical Association in New York.
