TRENDS IN POPULATIONS OF THREE SPECIES OF SAWFLIES INFESTING TAMARACK IN SOUTHEASTERN MANITOBA (HYMENOPTERA: TENTHREDEVIDAE)
Published online by Cambridge University Press: 31 May 2012
Abstract
Seasonal distributions of adult emergence and larval drop for Anoplonyx luteipes (Cresson), A. canadensis Harrington, and Pristiphora erichsonii (Hartig) are compared. Larval populations of A. luteipes have a significant positive correlation with those of P. erichsonii, while A. canadensis adult populations show a significant negative correlation with P. erichsonii larval populations.
