Abstract

Spelobia tenebrarum is a troglobitic sphaerocerid restricted to a large number of isolated eastern North American caves. The Quaternary origin of this species from its sister species, S. semioculata, is discussed.

Résumé

Spelobia tenebrarum est un sphaeroceride troglobitique limité à un grand nombre de cavernes isolées de l'est de l'Amérique du Nord. On discute de l'origine quaternaire de cette espèce à partir de l'espèce jumelle S. semioculata.
