Extract

Among the material submitted to me for determination by Professor Packard, from the Peabody Academy of Science, are specimens from Maine and Massachusetts of two species of Agrotis allied to, but distinct from A. triangulum. Agrotis attentus. N. sp.

The eyes are naked. The middle and hind tibiae are armed, but the fore tibiae are without spines; male antennae siurple, bristled and pubescent.
