A New Species of Roederiodes Coquillett (Diptera: Empididae) From Utah, With Additional Notes on the Genus

Abstract

A new species, Roederiodes petersoni, described from Utah, is a member of the juncta group, distinguished by its smooth face and incomplete postocular bristle row. Brief notes on distribution and synonymy of other species of the genus are given.
