A NEW SPECIES OF PTEROMALINAE (PTEROMALIDAE: CHALCIDOIDEA) FROM NORTH AMERICA

Abstract

Dorcatomophaga (Nearctomophaga) jonesi n. subgen., n. sp. is described. Subgeneric characters are compared between the Nearctic and Palearctic forms. Representatives of the genus have not previously been recorded from North America.

Résumé

L’auteur décrit un nouveau sous-genre et une nouvelle espèce d’insecte, Dorcatomophaga (Nearctomophaga) jonesi. Il compare les caractères sous-génériques des formes néarctique et paléarctique. Jusqu’ici, personne n’avait signalé de représentant de ce genre en Amérique du Nord.
