Extract

Colletes clypeonitens, n. sp.—. Length 11 mm. Clypeus prominent, polished, narrowly medially sulcate, its puncutres coarse but scattered and not forming striæ, its apex slightly emarginate and preceded by a transverse rim. Malar space one and one-half times as long as broad, finally striate.
