DESCRIPTION OF THE FEMALE OF XYSTICUS WINNIPEGENSIS (ARANEAE: THOMISIDAE)

Abstract

The female of Xysticus winnipegensis Turnbull et al., 1965 is described for the first time. The external genitalia of the female show the species to belong to the luctuosus group of the genus rather than the triangulosus group as previously supposed.

Résumé

La femelle de Xysticus winnipegensis Turnbull et al., 1965 est décrite pour la première fois. Les génitalia externes de la femelle indiquent que l’espèce appartient au groupe luctuosus du genre et non pas au groupe triangulosus comme cru antérieurement.
