XXIX. The Œdemeridae and Cephaloidae of Ontario and Quebec.

The family Œdemeridæ is of small extent, only five species, representing four genra, being recorded from the region under discussion. None of our species are very samll and two of them at least often reach a size sufficient to render them readily noticeable. With the exception of Nacerdes melanura, which frequents houses, wharves, lumber piles and shipping, they are to be found on bushes and trees or else under boards in wooded districts.
