Extract

Antennæ, filiform, brown; number of joints, twenty-seven; scape, large, ovate, pale yellow beneath. Eyes naked, large and prominent, dark rosy brown. Clypesu, labrum, mandibles and palpi pale yellow. The lower portions of the epicranium are of the same colour. The occiput is black, smooth and glossy. Mesothorax highly convex, black, sparsely set with short, pale-brown, retrose hairs. Scutellum elevated. Tegulæ yellow. The under parts of thorax amber-coloured, as are also the legs, with the exception of the tarsi and parts of the tibiæ of teh hindmost pair, which are brown.
