Abstract

Liparocephalus litoralis Kirschenblatt is redescribed from specimens recently collected and illustrated. Additional data on its geographical distribution (Kuril Islands, Russia, and Hokkaido, Japan) are added. A modified key is provided to differentiate L. litoralis from the other recognized species of the genus Liparocephalus Mäklin.

Résumé

L’espèce Liparocephalus litoralis Kirschenblatt est redécrite à partir de spécimens récoltés récemment et est illustrée. Des données supplémentaires sur sa répartition géographique (îles de Kouriles, Russie, et Hokkaido, Japon) sont ajoutées. La clé d’identification du genre Liparocephalus Mäklin a été modifiée pour incorporer L. litoralis.
