On the genus Baaora (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Typhlocybinae) from China, with descriptions of five new species

Abstract

A taxonomic study of the genus Baaora Dworakowska in China is reported. Seven species are treated, one of which is reported for the first time in China, and five new species, B. dworakowskaesp. nov., B. apicimaculatasp. nov., B. fuscasp. nov., B. nigritergitasp. nov., and B. aberrantasp. nov., are described and illustrated. A checklist of all Chinese species and a key to distinguish them are provided.

La thèse est sur l'étude taxonomique du genre Baaora Dworakowska. Il s'agit de sept espèces, dont l'une est rapporté pour la première fois en Chine, les cinq, B. dworakowskaesp. nov., B. apicimaculatasp. nov., B. fuscasp. nov., B. nigritergitasp. nov. et B. aberrantasp. nov., sont décrits. Toutes les espèces sont listées et la clé de leur séparation est fournie.
