I little thought when I wrote my short note (ante pp. 47–48) that the American speceis of Anthocharidi were in such a muddle as Mr. Dyar has quickly proved them to be. It will be very necessary to go much further now with the question, and I would suggest that those who have the opportunity should, during this season if possible, and next season if it be now too late, examine critically and make drawings of the eggs, larvæ and pupæ of the Anthocharids in question and publish them in the Candian Entomologist, where they can be examined by British workers and compared with European speices.
