A NEW SPECIES OF THE PERILISSUS ANATINUS SPECIES GROUP AND NOTES ON THE RELATIONSHIPS OF THE SPECIES GROUPS OF PERILISSUS (HYMENOPTERA, ICHNEUMONIDAE, CTENOPELMATINAE)

Abstract

Individuals of Perilissus nudus sp.nov. of the Perilissus anatinus species group are described. This species, which occurs in the mountain ranges of southern Mexico and Costa Rica, is compared with the closely related species P. anatinus Barron. Locality data on additional specimens of P. anatinus, found in mountain ranges in Mexico, are included. Study of characteristics of P. nudus in relation to P. anatinus clarifies further the relationship of this species group with the other species groups of Perilissus.

Résumé

L’auteur décrit les individus de l’espèce Perilissus nudus sp.nov., qui appartient au groupe d’espèces Perilissus anatinus. Cette espèce, que l’on a retrouvée dans les régions montagneuses au sud du Mexique et au Costa Rica, est comparée à l’espèce parente P. anatinus Barron. On inclu des données de localité provenant de matériel additionnel de P. anatinus, espèce qui se rencontre dans les montagnes du Mexique. L’étude des caractéristiques de P. nudus en relation avec P. anatinus permet d’élucider davantage les liens entre ce groupe d’espèces et d’autres groupes d’espèces du genre Perilissus.
