A NEW GENUS, MISTURAPHIS, AND A NEW SPECIES OF CRYPTAPHIS FROM MANITOBA (HOMOPTERA: APHIDIDAE), WITH A NOTE ON PSEUDASIPHONAPHIS ANOGIS

Abstract

A new genus, Misturaphis, is described, with type-species Misturaphis shiloensis new species, from Artemisia caudata Michx. Cryptaphis bromi new species is described from Bromus inermis Leyss. Asiphonaphis anogis Hottes and Frison is declared a junior synonym of Pergandeidia corni Tissot, and P. corni is re-designated as type species of the genus Pseudasiphonaphis, with new name Pseudasiphonaphis corni (Tissot).
