The Life History of a Web-spinning Sawfly of Spruce, Cephalcia fascipennis (Cresson) (Hymenoptera: Pamphiliidae)1

Abstract

The larvae of Cephalcia fascipennis (Cress.) feed on spruce and occasionally severely damage ornamental trees or hedges. The life history is described.
