In a recent article Spencer records the Dermestid A. scrophulariae L. breeding in houses upon the dead hc'clies of the Cluster fly P. rudis Fab. A similar relationship between Dermestis lardarius L. and the dead adults of several species of Calliphoridae has twice come to the attention of the writer in Alberta.
