THE EUROPEAN SPECIES PERIZOMA ALCHEMILLATA (THE SMALL RIVULET (BR.)) (LEPIDOPTERA: GEOMETRIDAE) IN NEWFOUNDLAND1

Abstract

The European species Perizoma alchemillata (L.), first collected in Newfoundland 22 July 1954, is now widely distributed throughout the island. Notes on its distribution, life-history, and ecology are provided. The adult moths and the male and female genitalia are illustrated to facilitate identification.
