Abstract

Efficient methods are described for mass rearing, picking and spreading in the field millions of aphids. The originality of the method lies in the use of a powder that prevents aphids from sticking to the equipment or to each other, and makes them a flowable substance that can be spread with a special apparatus.

Résumé

Nous décrivons des méthodes efficaces pour l’élevage en masse, la cueillette et l’épandage sur le terrain de millions de pucerons. L’originalité de la méthode réside dans l’emploi d’une poudre qui empêche les pucerons de coller ensemble ou au plateau de cueillette, et qui leur donne la propriété de s’écouler facilement dans un épandeur conçu pour ce travail.
