23 Archbishop Ussher noted that it was there when he saw it (Trinity College, Dublin, MS. D.3.4, fo 119r). It is not known when he consulted it. Foxe, Acts, Book 6 (ed. Pratt, iii, pp. 580 and 597, n. 1) simply described the manuscript as (part of) a register of the diocese of Norwich, without saying where it was housed.

24 The manuscript does not appear in the catalogue of Lambeth Palace Library compiled after Archbishop Abbot's death in 1633 (Library Record 6). Nor was it part of the collection transferred to Cambridge in 1647 and restored to Lambeth in 1664 (Bill, E. G. W., A Catalogue of Manuscripts in Lambeth Palace Library, Mss. 1222–1860 (Oxford, 1972), pp. 151Google Scholar). Nor does it appear in the catalogue of the material in the archbishop's study (Bodleian Library, Tanner MS. 88, fos. 20r–69v). I am indebted to Dr Bill, Librarian of Lambeth Palace, for most of the information in this footnote.
