I am pleased to announce that Miguel Alzola (Fordham University) is stepping into the role of book review editor starting with the next issue. Miguel is a specialist in virtue ethics with scholarly interests that range well beyond to include moral psychology, human rights, corporate political activity, and collective agency, among other subjects. Miguel’s many published articles include two in BEQ, and he has also been a valued reviewer and member of the journal’s editorial board. His intellectual breadth makes him especially well suited to the role of book review editor. Miguel replaces Jeffery Smith (Seattle University), who has been excellent in the position these last four years, generating a pipeline of first-rate reviews of a diverse set of new books. Authors, readers, or reviewers with ideas for book reviews are encouraged to contact Miguel directly. Our goal at BEQ is presenting timely, authoritative reviews of new books in the field (broadly construed). This is best accomplished with the assistance of our readership.
