Twisted Alexander polynomial for the Lawrence-Krammer representation

In this paper, we prove that the twisted Alexander polynomial for the Lawrence-Krammer representation of the braid group B4 is trivial. This gives an answer to the problem of whether the twisted Alexander polynomial for given faithful representations is always non-trivial.
