A new species of Hispaniella Mercet (Hym., Aphelinidae) from Diaspid scales in Uganda

Extract

Hispaniella africana sp. n. is described from material reared from Inchoaspis dentilobis (Newst.) (Horn., Diaspididae) attacking Sapium ellipticum (Euphorbiaceae) in Uganda. This is the first record of the genus from tropical Africa.
