A new Anopheles (Dipt., Culicidae) from Nigeria and a note on A. pretoriensis (Theobald)

Extract

A new Anopheles species of the subgenus Cellia Theobald is described from a female caught at ultraviolet light in northern Nigeria, and named A. deemingi. A description is also given of an atypical female adult of A. pretoriensis (Theobald).
