The larval instars of the african blowfly, Calliphora croceipalpis Jaennicke, with a key to the genera of the third instars of african carrion-breeding Calliphoridae (Diptera)

Abstract

The larval instars of Calliphora croceipalpis Jaennicke are described, and keys to the separation of this species from other African Calliphora species given. A key to the third instars of all genera of Calliphoridae known to breed in carrion in Africa is also provided.
